Luckily, autumn in Wisconsin is unbeatable and Eau Claire takes advantage of that. Head over to one of the many pumpkin patches, such as Govin's Farm, Valley Pasture Farm, Ferguson’s Apple Orchard, or Leffel Roots, and find the plumpest and best pumpkin around to carve and make your own!
Orchards
It's not October in Wisconsin without a visit to an apple orchard. If you're looking for "Fall Fun", Eau Claire's orchards are it. You'll get to pick your own apples, bite into some scrumptious apple cider donuts, find your way through corn mazes, and much more!
Haunted Houses & Trails

See performances from the Chippewa Valley Theatre Guild, listen to scary stories, and take part in more family-friendly activities. Click here to learn more about the event.
Also starting in September, you can book a ride on the Chippewa River Trolley for a Dark History Tour of Eau Claire. Hear exclusive tales about Eau Claire's scandals, crimes, and peculiar hauntings through the decades.
If you're a real thrill-seeker, step it up a notch and visit the Field of Screams Haunted Barn & Trail and Screamin' Hollow Haunted Trail for a spooky attraction at night.
