Beaver Creek Reserve
Ten miles east of Eau Claire and just north of Fall Creek, Beaver Creek Reserve encompasses 360 acres of picturesque natural habitat where people can discover, learn, and appreciate the mysteries of our natural world. The Wise Nature Center contains hands-on exhibits and displays, the Hobbs Observatory provides opportunities for viewing the nighttime sky, and the butterfly house gives visitors an up-close and personal experience with nature! So many activities for the adventurer in your family and discovery fun for all ages! Beaver Creek Reserve also has cabins available for group camping opportunities!
Big Falls County Park
Big Falls County Park is located just north of Fall Creek and is a beautiful seasonal attraction for people of all ages. In the spring, summer, and fall this area is perfect for a picnic, fishing, sunbathing, or swimming! The park is located on an area of the Eau Claire River that washes over beautiful, large boulders creating a scenic escape from day-to-day life. In the summer you’ll see teenagers swimming and families building sandcastles. The perfect day trip getaway for your itinerary!
Weaver’s Country Store
When you’re traveling around the Eau Claire area Weaver’s Country Store should be on your list! For bulk or individual sales the store offers wholesome products with a homemade, country flair! With candies, cheese and curds, milk, sugar-free products, and homegrown chickens and eggs this is the place to get the best that nature has to offer! It’s rumored that their banana jelly is the best around! Check it out just east of Fall Creek on Highway 12.

If you’re into collecting or decorating with crafty early farmhouse primitives, country antiques, and rusty junk this is the place for you! Kendra & Co. exists to remind everyone of the good-old days and recapture how things used to be – when simplicity was a way of life, and not a trend! You’ll find the best one-of-a-kind pieces at Kendra & Co. from dolls to furniture and candles to wreaths!
Fall Creek Historical Society
For the history buff in the family, the Fall Creek Historical Society has plenty of information for you to soak up in an afternoon, all within a few town blocks! Randall Park is located at the corner of Lincoln Ave and Liberty Street in downtown and features a small cabin filled with artifacts that depict scenes from Fall Creek’s past including a dressmaker shop, a photographer’s studio, a doctor’s office and more! In addition, the Menge House was donated to the Historical Society and is one of three remaining buildings in Fall Creek that was produced locally with a cement block style in the early 1900s. Both are must-sees to add historical knowledge to your travels!
