Schlegelmilch House - Chippewa Valley Museum

Built in 1871 by a German immigrant merchant family as one of the city's first brick homes, the Schlegelmilch House is filled with furnishings typical of the early decades of its long history. The house highlights themes of immigration, class structure, community, and 20th century suburbanization in the Chippewa Valley. Tour information is available from Chippewa Valley Museum at 715-834-7871.
