The Dells Mill and Museum
The Dells Mill was built in 1864 as a water-powered grist mill to grind wheat in Civil War era Wisconsin. Built along the dells of Bridge Creek, the mill served farmers and their families for fishing and acted as a central building for a growing community. Dells Mill, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, operated continuously until 1968. We highly recommend a visit to this historic treasure of the Chippewa Valley.
The Wood Shed
The Amish Community is prominent in August, WI and you can take a glimpse into their day-to-day life at The Wood Shed. Lake Eau Claire County Park

Stage Coach Bicycle Route
With the trailhead located right in Augusta, WI off of Highway 12/27 this is a great outdoor recreational activity for visitors. The trail is approximately 21 miles round trip with alternative loops that allow you to create your own adventure! This trail is ranked as a beginner skill level with few steep hills, which allow it to be a wonderfully scenic route at any time of the year. The lightly traveled road is perfect for a family of bikers! The bicycle route is available year-round and there is no pass required for route access, enjoy!
