Sonnentag Event Center

The Sonnentag Event Center is a 104,900-square-foot event facility with a seating capacity of 5,000. Sonnentag's Event Center is the new home to UW-Eau Claire Blugold men's and women's basketball teams and other athletic tournaments. The facility holds four courts suitable for basketball, volleyball, and other indoor sports, with versatile floor layouts depending on event size. Beginning in June 2025, Eau Claire will welcome The Arena League to the city where the Eau Claire Axemen will take the field at the Sonnentag Event Center. The event center will also host a variety of concerts, live entertainment, and other sporting events. 

John & Carolyn Sonnentag Fieldhouse

The John & Carolyn Sonnentag Fieldhouse, named in honor of its generous benefactors, is a sprawling 81,300-square-foot facility boasting impressive 72-foot-high ceilings. This cutting-edge space features a 100-yard artificial turf field, providing an ideal environment for the UW-Eau Claire Blugolds' football, lacrosse, and soccer teams to train year-round.

Center for Health and Wellbeing

This two-story fitness facility is 14,200 square feet and grants you the best views of the Chippewa River and State Trail at the venue. With an array of weights, cardio equipment, and fitness studios, the Center for Health and Wellbeing is Eau Claire's most inviting and inspiring place to focus on your health. Memberships for the fitness center are available for all UW-Eau Claire students, faculty, staff, and select community members.

Mayo Clinic Health System Diagnostic Imaging & Sports Medicine Center

A new facility for Eau Claire area athletes and recreationists is now open at The Sonnentag Center and is attached to the John and Carolyn Sonnentag Fieldhouse. The Mayo Clinic Health System Diagnostic Imaging & Sports Medicine Center is designed for active residents and athletes of all ages and offers state-of-the-art technology and exceptional care. With the installation of this new medical facility, athletes and active adults have access to a specialized team of physicians, physical therapists, and athletic trainers at a peak sporting venue. The sports medical team at Sonnentag is here to help you meet your physical goals and prevent future injuries for all active visitors.
