Downtown Eau Claire Fall Festival
Celebrate One of Wisconsin's Favorite Fall Traditions
The Downtown Eau Claire Fall Festival has become the unofficial kickoff to the season for locals and visitors alike — the day downtown trades its summer buzz for fall cider, flannels, and crunchy leaves underfoot. The festival takes over North Barstow St. with a full lineup of street vendors, food trucks, and hands-on fun for every age.
Kids (and plenty of adults) gravitate toward the face painting, balloon art, and caricature artists, while the charity dunk tank keeps things loud and competitive for a good cause. Scattered "experience zones" throughout downtown give visitors a reason to wander block to block rather than plant themselves in one spot — so budget a couple of hours if you want to see it all.
The festival starts at 10 AM on September 12, 2026, and is free to attend.
