Since 2010, The Local Store has offered products either created by local craftspeople or products simply evoking a Wisconsin way of life – The Local Store has become the THE stop for authentic local shopping.

We offer art, apparel, books, gift baskets, kids gear, glassware, decor, foodstuffs, and impressive array of unique gifts - all with a high ratio of exclusive product lines you just can't find anywhere else, - all produced by, for, and/or about people in this community.

The Local Store is operated by Volume One - an arts+culture magazine, integrated media company, and community action agency that has received numerous local, regional, and national awards, recognitions, and widespread praise for its community aesthetic and unique voice.

The store occupies the first floor of Volume One's headquarters, along with Eau Claire Electric Bike Rental, and is the home base of the Chippewa River Trolley Company.
