Pietrek County Park | Arcadia, WI

Joe Pietrek Jr. Memorial County Park is located just outside of Arcadia, WI, and offers visitors a place a hike, camp, and explore in nature. The park's campground is home to over 50 unique campsites and is conveniently located within walking distance of the trail entrances and open lawn. The Tremplealeau River flows past the park and is often used for tubing, kayaking, and canoeing in the summer. With lookout points, flower gardens, and trail systems, Pietrek County Park is the perfect place to escape with the family in Trempealeau County. Soldiers Walk Memorial Park | Arcadia, WI

Experience the Soldiers Walk Memorial Park, a touching, powerful dedication to past, present, and future veterans in Arcadia, WI. This 54-acre park is located in the heart of Arcadia and is the largest memorial park in the U.S. outside of Washington D.C. The Avenue of Heros is a stunning walkway featuring various memorial statues spread out in meters, and each meter represents one year in the country's history. Whitehall Depot

Whitehall Depot | Whitehall, WI

This facility was once used as a freight and passenger train depot on the Green Bay Route. The building was built in 1914 and was later sold in 1963 for different business uses. Perrot State Park | Trempealeau, WI

Located right along the Mississippi River, Perrot State Park offers an incredible adventure through wooded areas, marshland, and bluffs. The park is 1,200 acres and is filled with wildlife, trail systems, and rental gear in the warmer season. Take a hike through the woods and up the bluffs for stunning views of the Mississippi River and the surrounding driftless region, or post up for a picnic throughout the park. Explore the Great River State Trail, secure a campsite within the state park, and take on the waters for a canoeing or fishing adventure. In the winter, Perrot State Park can be explored by taking the cross-country skiing trails or snowshoe trails and appreciating a winter wonderland in Trempealeau County. Bugle Lake

Bugle Lake | Independence, WI

Located right in the heart of Independence, WI, Bugle Lake is a 35-acre body of water filled with largemouth bass, trout, and panfish. There are a few parks located by Bugle Lake including Island Park, a literal island in the lake! The park is home to playground equipment and picnic areas, and other parks offer fishing docks, boat landings, and other play areas. Each winter, the first weekend in February, the Elk Road and Gun Club hosts their annual Ice Fishing Contest and Jamboree on Bugle Lakes which draws hundreds of people together for fishing, food, drink, and fun!

Crystal Lake Campground | Strum, WI

Get a Wisconsin camping experience in Strum, WI at the Crystal Lake Campground! This park includes 42 campsites, a boat landing, a playground, and a lake to enjoy. The campground park connects to the Buffalo River State Trail and is located right next to the Viking Golf Course.
