Autumn stroll through Stars Hollow

Okay, so it's not exactly Stars Hollow, but once you're surrounded by Eau Claire's fall colors, you'll feel like you're there. Just close your eyes and picture it—crisp morning air, leaves crunching as you walk the sidewalks, a warm coffee or tea in hand, and bundled up in our best fall jacket. This is your moment to channel your inner Gilmore girl! Wander along the trails of Phoenix Park, Owen Park, River Prairie, or Carson Park in Eau Claire, and soak up the stunning foliage along the Chippewa River and Half Moon Lake. Or, for more of a woodland walk vibe, head to Wheaton Park and take the trails through the woods for fall colors and possible wildlife spotting. For an Emily-and-Richard-approved evening, head to Houligans. With its warm, upscale atmosphere and hearty entrées, you’ll feel like you’ve been whisked straight to a Gilmore family Friday night dinner (minus the obligatory argument about Yale vs. Harvard).
