Outdoor Ice Rinks

Pinehurst Park

Pinehurst Park is Eau Claire's stellar winter destination and is the perfect place to spend a snow day in Eau Claire. The park features a general rink for ice skating, as well as a boarded hockey rink at the base of the sledding hill. With Gear Share's initiatives, Pinehurst Park offers rentals including hockey/sledding helmets, hockey sticks, and soft pucks, as well as snowshoes, sleds, crokicurl, broomball sets, and kubb kits. Putnam Heights Elementary School

The elementary schools in Eau Claire are hot spots for skating in Eau Claire and family-friendly outdoor time in the winter. Putnam Heights is a supervised location with a general rink, boarded hockey rink, a variety of board games, playing cards, arts & crafts, and other indoor fun. Roosevelt Elementary School

Roosevelt Elementary School is another supervised ice rink in Eau Claire for family-friendly skating this winter. Hobbs Municipal Ice Arena - Eau Claire

Eau Claire's Hobbs Municipal Ice Arena is a 93,000-square-foot facility including three indoor rinks for hockey and open skating. The arena offers skate rentals for all sizes, and the facility is available for open skating multiple days and times of the week.
