Ruby’s Pantry comes to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd on the first Thursday of each month. The organization needs volunteers for food distribution. Volunteers may come for one hour or for as long as they can between 12:30 pm and 5:30 pm. Volunteers are also needed for set up, gathering products in a wagon and car-loading assistance. TYPE OF VOLUNTEER: Youth (12 and older) and Adults RECRUITING: Individuals and Groups SCHEDULE: Weekdays/Evenings COMMITMENT: Ongoing/Short Term/Event HRS PER MONTH: Up to 7 TRAINING REQUIRED: None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Able to lift boxes, walk through building easily and able to stand for a long length of time. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED: Friendly and want to help others.
