Junior Achievement (JA) gives young people the knowledge and skills to promote their own economic success. JA’s purpose is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy- volunteers make this possible by delivering relevant, hands-on experiences which fosters financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. Volunteers step into classrooms from grades 2-12 once a week for 5-7 classroom visits. Volunteers present JA curriculum and supplement it with their own “real-life” work experiences.
