The mission of the Ice Age Trail Alliance is to build, support and maintain a thousand mile hiking trail tracing glacial formations in Wisconsin. The local chapter supports the Chippewa County segment. Most opportunities involve outdoor maintenance activities on the trail including cutting brush, clearing downed branches, building bridges and structures, leading hikes, and supporting hikers.

TRAINING REQUIRED: Yes
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Many opportunities involve spending time on uneven ground a fair distance from medical or other services, and require walking from ½ to 4 miles.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED: Enjoy working outdoors in nature; comfort with the use of small power tools is helpful.
