The Center for Independent Living advocates for and with persons with a disability to exercise their right to full participation in society. Volunteer drivers are needed in the 29 county transportation service area of Northwest Wisconsin. Drivers use their own vehicles and are reimbursed the current federal mileage rate. Volunteer drivers take riders to medical, social, education, personal business, nutrition and other destinations. Volunteer drivers can choose general regions to drive in and how many hours a week they are available.

TRAINING REQUIRED: Yes
TRAINING HRS: 4 yearly
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to drive personal vehicle.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED: Experience working with elderly and/or disabled helpful. Must have valid Wisconsin Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance and clean background.
