The mission of the Altoona Compassion Coalition is to provide food and other services to those in need in an efficient, compassionate and non-judgmental manner. Volunteers are needed to operate the monthly food pantry.
TYPE OF VOLUNTEER: Youth (10 and older) and Adults RECRUITING: Individuals and Groups SCHEDULE: Various COMMITMENT: Ongoing/Short Term/Event HRS PER WEEK: 1-3 TRAINING REQUIRED: None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Most volunteers need to be comfortable standing, lifting, and bending. There are a few opportunities available where volunteers can be seated. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED: Care, compassion, a smile and kind words.
