This interactive simulation takes you on a journey from the treacherous jungles of Laos, across the Mekong River, and finally to the refugee camps in Thailand where they await sponsorship to the United States and its allied countries. HMoob Heritage Month Met Gala | April 26, 2025
Power up Claire is presenting the 3rd annual HMoob Heritage Month Gala on April 26, 2025. Taking place at 5 PM at The Lismore Hotel, this gala unites the diverse communities of the Chippewa Valley and celebrates the rich culture that the Hmong heritage has brought to the region.
Hmong Immigration Exhibit at Chippewa Valley Museum | April 24-September 13, 2025
Explore the journeys of two immigrant communities that helped shape the Chippewa Valley. This special exhibit marks 200 years of Norwegian immigration to the U.S. and 50 years since the first Hmong families arrived in the region. Through personal stories, artifacts, and immersive displays, discover the hardships, hopes, and resilience that defined their paths.

HMoob Day Celebration | May 17, 2025
Save the date of May 17, 2025, for a celebration in Phoenix Park! The HMoob Day Celebration will take place in the farmers market pavilion and will feature a variety of food, vendors, cultural performances, and a concert in the park. This spring event is free for all ages to attend.
