Ice Cream Parlor

Speak with visitors, serve ice cream, and interpret the history of ice cream in our 1950s ice cream parlor! You could provide a tasty ending to a tour when visitors can relax and reflect on what they learned in the exhibits.

The ice cream parlor is reopening on Saturday May 25! It will be open Fridays and Saturdays 1:00-5:00 PM. Submit a volunteer interest form, speak with Tim and complete onboarding forms, then train for an hour with Angela.

Have quiet time to yourself while not engaging with visitors, or bring a friend or younger family member. Volunteering in the ice cream parlor develops food service skills that could be useful for employment in Eau Claire’s ice cream shops or other restaurants.
