One of the best features of a summer fair– the FOOD! Devour the deep-fried goodness all throughout the Northern Wisconsin State Fair week. Get your fix on fair food classics like foot-long corndogs, sweet funnel cakes, refreshing, fresh-squeezed lemonade, big sticks of cotton candy, salty french fries, stretchy cheese curds, and so much more. This year's live entertainment lineup may be the Northern Wisconsin State Fair's best yet! Major talents will take the main stage at 8:00 PM Wednesday-Saturday and will feature Charlie Berens, Ludacris, Lee Brice, and One Vision of Queen. If you want a front-row seat at the shows, get your VIP tickets and receive seating within the first five rows, access to the social and meal tent from 5-10 PM, complimentary soda, beer, & wine, a catered meal, and air-conditioned bathrooms. While these performances require separate tickets, the Leninenkugel's Pavilion will host various free performances throughout the fair! See bands like North of Dixie, Rockin' Billy, The Thundermen, and Marshall Star Band at the fairgrounds, or stop over at Leinie Lodge to see The Dweebs, Brady Luke Band, Conrad and the Comrades, Jim Schuh & Mark Healy Duo, Contradiction, Jake Morley, Rich Schroeder, and ember. Get ready to dance the night away and see major acts this July at the fairgrounds!
Catch a thrill with carnival rides & games
Experience the thrill of the Northern Wisconsin State Fair with wild rides at the carnival! The carnival's hours of operation include Wednesday-Saturday from noon to 11 PM and Sunday from noon to 5 PM. Find rides for the whole family on the Merry Go Round and Ferris Wheel, or brave some of the thrill rides at this year's fair. Following an afternoon of spinning and swirling, regain your balance with carnival games at the fairgrounds! Try to win with the Lucky Duck drawing, bring home stuffed animals with water gun games, and so many more. The entire family will find an adrenaline rush on the rides at the Northern Wisconsin State Fair's carnival; save room in your cars for giant, epic prizes you'll bring home from the fair!
Browse through enthralling exhibits
Dedicate a portion of your fair experience to visiting the animal exhibits! Located on the east side of the fairgrounds, explore the youth exhibits showcasing dairy & beef cattle, swine, sheep, goats, horses, rabbits, and more. See the animals at their given judging competitions within the Custer Coliseum throughout the week, or get an up-close experience with animals at the petting zoo Wednesday-Sunday. See other juniors' works in various departments including plant & soil sciences, flowers & houseplants, cultural arts, photography, computer programming, woodworking, mechanics, foods & nutrition, clothing, home furnishings, presentations, leadership, health & citizenship, and much more.
