General Information

Admission is subject to the policies and restrictions posted at each entrance to the grounds. Eau Claire HmongFest (ECHF) reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any person violating any law or policy. ECHF reserves the right to alter policies and/or restrictions at any time, with or without notice.

Consent

Persons entering the facility hereby consent to have their name, image and/or likeness, writings, biographical information or recordings of their voice captured or reproduced in any medium, forever and throughout the world, for any purpose by ECHF or its affiliates, respective licensees and assigns, partners or the media.

Plan Your Day

When preparing to visit HmongFest, please be sure to read the below list of items that are prohibited at the festival. This list is posted at all entrances to the festival. Any items not allowed at ECHF will be confiscated by Security upon entry and will not be held at the gate or returned. ECHF reserves the right to modify this list at any time. ECHF reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any person violating any law or policy.

Festival Entry Requirements

No mask requirement and no plans to require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or proof of a negative test. ECHF will closely monitor the situation and continue to work closely with health experts while following local COVID-19 guidelines.

General Admission Wristbands

All festival attendees must wear wristbands. Wristbands may be purchased at the General Admissions Gate or online at: www.visiteauclaire.com/eau-claire-hmongfest/tickets/.

ECHF strongly urges all patrons to avoid purchasing wristbands from unauthorized sources. Counterfeit wristbands purchased from unauthorized sources will not be honored.

  • General Admission Gate: credit/debit cards & cash
Gate Security Policy

All visitors, athletes, performers and event staff will enter the festival through designated gates. Everyone will be screened with metal detection wands and should be prepared to comply with other security screening requirements.

All bags are subject to inspection prior to entering the ECHF grounds. ECHF Security will not be responsible for any items that are confiscated.

Please leave any unnecessary articles secured within your vehicle or at home to expedite your entry into the festival. ECHF is not responsible for fire, theft, damage or loss of vehicles, including articles left within.

Exit & Re-Entry Policy

Online Admissions purchasers should provide proof of purchase at the gate to receive 1-day or 2-day wristbands. Wristband wearers are allowed to leave and re-enter the festival through security screening, the same day, at designated gate areas from 7 AM until close.

Prohibited Items

Eau Claire HmongFest reserves the right to alter carry-in item policies at any time. The following are prohibited for carry-in items at the Eau Claire HmongFest:

  • Outside food & beverages
  • Cans or glass bottles
  • Aerosol cans
  • Alcohol
  • Illegal drugs or substances
  • Firearms
  • Knives
  • Weapons or objects that could be used as weapons
  • Fireworks
  • Drones (only authorized for media representatives)
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Banners or flags on poles
  • Laser pointers
  • Skateboards or skates
  • Bicycles
  • Hoverboards
Pet Policy 

Only service animals are allowed into the festival.

Please be prepared to produce certification or other credentials from a school for training/service animals. The animal must wear a harness or leash and special cape denoting that the animal is in training and not merely a pet.

Please note that Eau Claire HmongFest reserves the right to remove both animal and patron if the animal jeopardizes the safety of other festival patrons or staff or disrupts the public peace of the festival.

Smoking/Vaping Policy

Smoking/Vaping is prohibited on park property. 

No smoking/vaping signs will be posted around the perimeter.

Individuals may smoke on Craig Road or West Hamilton Street only, and must remain at least 25 feet away from gate entrance areas.
