Club TEN

Club TEN is located just 4 miles outside of Durand and is the town's lively hangout spot! This game lounge is best known for its bowling lanes and golf simulators, as well as billiards, darts, and other simulations. Find a full bar menu throughout the week, and plan for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights in their classic Wisconsin supper club atmosphere. Their Friday Fish Fry and Saturday Prime Rib will leave you coming back for more!

Kingfisher

Kingfisher is an American restaurant in Durand, WI, serving delicious platters made with fresh ingredients. Find seasonal plates and impressive dinners like grilled salmon, fish tacos, ribeye steak, eggplant parmesan, and much more! This restaurant is located on Main Street in Durand and overlooks the Chippewa River flowing by. Kingfisher will offer you a supper-club-like experience, and they even serve local beers on tap from the Durand Brewing Company.

Panther Drive-In

The Panther Drive-In is an old-school root beer stand in Durand, WI, right at the intersection of Highway 85 and Highway 10. The establishment is painted in bright purple and gold colors in honor of the Durand-Arkansaw School District's colors and mascot. The Panther Drive-In is only open in the spring & summertime, and their waiting staff operates on an order-from-your-car system. While they're known for their cold root beer mugs, they offer a huge menu filled with burgers, wraps, appetizers, ice cream, corn dogs, and more!

The Stone Barn

Located about 20 minutes south of Durand, WI is the widely-loved Stone Barn. This spot is a magical, family-friendly farm that has popular wood-fired pizza, a wedding barn, wine, ice cream, and even goats. The Stone Barn was ranked number 3 for 2023's Best Restaurant for Outdoor Dining in Volume One's Best of the Chippewa Valley Reader Poll, and once you take a walk around the farm, you'll understand why! Feel free to bring your dogs to The Stone Barn– they're dog-friendly!

Cell Block Bar & Grill

Cell Block Bar & Grill is located on Main Street in Durand, and they have a perfect view of the Durand Bridge and Chippewa River. They serve up daily specials and some of the best burgers, salad bars, wings, salads, and appetizers in town. Tune in for bingo on Tuesday nights, live music events, or cold drinks on the deck at Cell Block!

Corral Bar and Riverside Grill

A Wisconsin country restaurant, the Corral Bar and Riverside Grill serves up a real taste of Wisconsin!  Located right downtown on Main Street the bar and grill is within walking distance to the rest of historical Durand.  With a home-cooked menu full of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options you’ll never go hungry!  Eat in the restaurant, out near the water, or grab the food to go! The restaurant is widely known for the original circus poster (as shown above) that can be found inside the Orton Room. Stopping here will transport visitors to Wisconsin 150 years ago and will truly be a highlight of the day!

Durand Brewing Company

When you're checking off locations on your Eau Claire Brew Pass, be sure to stop at the Durand Brewing Company for a beer. This brewery is located just outside of Durand, WI, and they offer 9 craft beers on tap. Some of the locals even say that their flavors compare to those at Leinenkugel's! Come out to the Durand Brewing Company for a laid-back drinking atmosphere, pizza, and games.

RoosterTail Bar & Grill is well-known for their delicious and unique loaded tater tot plates! Blues on the Chippewa

Durand’s Memorial Park is located in the heart of downtown, only one block off Main Street.  The park is within walking distance of the business district and right off the main drag.  Each year, the first weekend in August, numerous musicians and music lovers from all over the country gather in Durand.  Blues on the Chippewa provides supplemental funding for the Pepin County Food Pantry & Brent Titus Music for Children Program as well as showcases the region’s wealth in the musical arts!  If you’re thinking of planning a trip in the summer, this is a weekend worth traveling for!

Chippewa River State Trail

If you're traveling from Eau Claire to Durand, WI, you have the option to get there on two wheels on the Chippewa River State Trail! The Chippewa River State Trail can be accessed on Main Street or 14th Ave East in Durand, and it is a popular outdoor recreation outlet by the Durand locals. Head to the trail on foot or on wheels, and make the 28-mile quest to Eau Claire!

Rolling Greens Golf Course

Formerly named the Durand Golf Club and established in the late 1920s, Rolling Greens Golf Course is a mature course on gently rolling terrain that meanders its way through the countryside.  No two holes are alike on this wonderfully designed course!  The greens are always challenging, the fairways plush, and the roughs are maintained for the best golfing around!

Tiffany Wildlife Area

Over 13,500 acres create a natural habitat right in the Chippewa Valley!  The wildlife area has the state’s largest continuous bottomland hardwood forests including a plethora of aspen and oak.  Hunters and fishermen are regulars to this region where they can find deer, ruffed rouse, beaver, turkey, otter, and so much more!  The Tiffany Wildlife Area is not just for hunting and fishing as it is a popular location for hiking and birding.  The most memorable sightings in the area include the bald eagle and the red-shouldered hawk.  This region blooms beautifully in the spring!  Explore the best that the region of Durand has to offer!
