Go on the Falling Leaves Art Studio Tour October 1 - 2, 2016
The Falling Leaves Art Studio Tour takes you on the backroads in the Augusta, Fall Creek, and Fairchild areas and provides opportunities to stop at the art studios of the artists along the way. There will be 32 artists at 18 locations. This tour gives you a chance to view the new creations of these artists and to see some beautiful scenery as you leisurely travel the country roads. The tour is 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Enjoy a show at the State Theatre
One of Eau Claire's artistic treasures, the State Theatre, is well known for showcasing classics like Oklahoma! and The Little Mermaid! An engaging performance is a must for visitors and locals alike as the voices of the cast are accompanied with the symphony orchestra in the pit with multiple set changes and extraordinary talent.
Pick a variety of apples in our famous Orchard Country
The Chippewa Valley is known for its abundant harvest in the autumn and that does not leave out the apples! Just north of Chippewa Falls is a region known as Orchard Country with apple trees that reach as far as the eye can see. From Macintosh to Honey Crisp you can find all your favorites in orchards like Ferguson's, Bushel & a Peck and Autumn Harvest Winery and all over the Eau Claire area!

Fall is a great time to sit back and enjoy the world around us including the beautiful scenery of a gorgeous countryside! Why not add wine to the occasion? Visit one or more of our many wineries and vineyards including Autumn Harvest Winery, River Bend Vineyard & Winery, and Infinity Beverages Winery & Distillery. With wonderful events and local music performances this is not something you'll want to miss!

Just because the leaves are falling does not mean that the snow is coming that soon! There is still green to be seen and where there is green there are golf balls! The UW-Eau Claire Blugold Football Team takes on another season as students flood into the city of Eau Claire this fall! Take a trip down to historic Carson Park and spend a sunny afternoon in the bleachers with pop corn and good friends. When the sun goes down past the pine trees bring out the blanket and hot chocolate as the Blugolds compete until the final seconds!
Experience the history at Paul Bunyan Logging Camp
Paul Bunyan logging camp has history, fun, and activities for all ages! A family can make a day out of visiting the museum and can learn a lot about the life of a lumberjack! Take a step back to the days of a blacksmith living in the lubber era of the Chippewa Valley and see real artifacts from that time!
