One of the best ways to discover the exciting and intertwining stories of Wisconsin's Chippewa Valley is to visit Eau Claire's nationally recognized Chippewa Valley Museum, open year-round. The museum offers award-winning exhibits, beautifully preserved historic structures on the grounds, fun activities, a 1950's ice cream parlor, a museum store, and more. The Chippewa Valley Museum sits beneath towering pines in Eau Claire's beautiful Carson Park, a 134-acre peninsula nestled inside horseshoe-shaped Half Moon Lake.

The Charter Bank Room can seat 12-20 and is a designed for business or board meetings. The auditorium will seat 60 people at tables or 90 theater-style. It offers Internet access and has a large screen for films, power points, or other data projection. The Ice Cream Parlor can accommodate about 30 people and is charming for parties, reunions, and the like. In addition, the entire museum can be rented before or after regular public hours. Rental fees vary with the type of event, number of guests, and if museum tours are included. Various trays and punch bowls are available free of charge. AV equipment is available and free wireless is included.
