Bridge Creek Cottage is a beautiful retreat facility located in the charming town of Augusta, WI 100 miles east of the twin cities. Augusta is a unique small town with both a large Amish and Mennonite population. Situated on 3 ½ wooded acres along the banks of Bridge Creek, the Cottage is the perfect place to enjoy quilting, scrapbooking, stamping, knitting, beading, spiritual retreats, seminars, family reunions and holidays or a girls get-a-way. Established in 2001 as the home of a large Mennonite family, Bridge Creek Cottage reflects the values placed on natural surroundings and creating space for family and friends to gather. Everywhere you look, inspiring views greet you from the enormous, fully equipped kitchen and dining room. There is plenty of space for everyone to sit and enjoy meals together. While at Bridge Creek Cottage you may prepare your own meals or book one of several local caterers to do the cooking for you. With over 5,000 square feet, up to twenty guests can comfortably spread out among the individually decorated seven bedrooms (four on the upper level, one on the main level, and two on the lower walk out level). There are twenty plush beds (18 twin and 2 queen). All linens are provided. Take time to relax in one of several areas throughout the house. The lower level family room has two sectional sofas and a television/DVD for you to enjoy movies. The living room and loft nook invite conversation with friends old and new. If the weather permits, you can enjoy time together on one of the large decks out back, one of three front patios or explore the creek. You just may catch a glimpse of a bald eagle, pileated woodpecker or hear our resident owl! The very spacious meeting room has a wall of windows overlooking the creek and has twenty 5’ tables and comfortable, adjustable chairs. The tables can be re-configured to meet a variety of needs. There is drive up access to the meeting room to easily load and unload. Separate heating/air-conditioning units insure comfort throughout the retreat. High speed WiFi, a computer and printer, design walls, irons and big boards are a few of the many amenities.
