The Lighthouse Youth Center offers children a safe, supervised and nurturing environment to interact with other children, parents and adults. Volunteers are needed to supervise and interact with children ages 5-17. They serve meals, play games, read stories, make crafts, enjoy music, lead daily devotions for children and volunteers who want to participate. The organization takes regular outings, like their horse camp in the spring, volunteers are needed to help transport. All volunteers are encouraged to bring their gifts and talents to enrich the lives of children at the Lighthouse Youth Center

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS NEEDED: Background working with atrisk youth ages 5-17 preferred but not required. Ability to listen, converse and have an abundance of patience. A genuine caring and compassionate attitude for children who may be in traumatic situations.
