Children’s Charities provides free, one-to-one instruction to children who struggle with reading, writing and spelling by training tutors to use a highly effective method of instruction. Volunteers are needed for office, clerical and organizational needs. Special event volunteers are needed for our biggest charity event - Country and Rock Fest. Tutors are needed twice a week to work one-on-one with students who struggle with reading, writing and spelling. Tutors will be trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach to instruction, with training starting periodically throughout the year.
