The Sounds Like Summer Concert Series is Volume One's Thursday night gig in downtown Eau Claire's Phoenix Park. Local bands play to crowds each night on the banks of the Chippewa River in June, July, and August. Multiple food vendors will have food for sale. Pets are allowed at the concert.

6:30 pm — John Forrest & the Model Citizens

John Forrest and The Model Citizens are a four piece alternative rock band based in Minneapolis, MN. Owing their formation to a Craigslist ad put out by frontman Forrest Ward, the band began playing music together in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic

7:30pm — Weapons of Brass Destruction

The Weapons of Brass Destruction are truly a New Orleans style big brass band that digs into rumba, mambo, big band, second line, and more.
