Kurt Jacobson is lung cancer survivor to date. Diagnosed in March 2018 with ALK-positive lung cancer stage IV with brain involvement, he is the beneficiary of a new targeted therapy that has pushed the cancer into remission.
Kurt is an ordained pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. For 28 years he served Trinity Lutheran Church, Eau Claire, WI. He holds a BA in Business/Hospital Administration and Organizational Communications and a Master of Divinity degree. Additionally, he holds a certificate in Intentional Interim Ministry from the National Association of Lutheran Interim Pastors. He is the author of “Welcoming Grace: Words of Love for All” and “Living Hope: Messages of Faith.” Today he offers consulting services to churches through his company, Mustard Seed Consulting, LLC and enjoys living on a lake in NW Wisconsin.
