Kristen Nyholm shares her personal and academic life learning about circuses. Kristen grew up in Baraboo where she became friends with ringmasters and jugglers while her dad played poker with the clowns. Working at Circus World, Kristen developed a respect and fascination for circus life and studied their history. She is writing a book about the about the 1938 murder of Alberta Gollmar.
