Galileo Galilei made amazing discoveries when he studied the night sky with a telescope. Find out how he did this and what he learned about Jupiter, Venus, and the true nature of our solar system.  The lecture is in the warm Hobbs Observatory at Beaver Creek Reserve.  If skies are clear after (and just before) the presentation, you can look through a telescope yourself (so be prepared for cold).
