The annual River Prairie Ginormous Pumpkin Festival celebrates giant pumpkins and their growers. The festival will usher in the fall season with 1,000 pound giant pumpkins lining the Front Porch Plaza in River Prairie Park. Besides giant pumpkins, families will find fun in the numerous events taking throughout the day such as the Giant Pumpkin Run and kid races, dessert baking contest, art vendors, rubber ducky race, pumpkin drop and food. Volunteers will help with various activities throughout the festival.
