Suzanne Hancock is a former Californian who has lived most of her life in Alaska. She has had many professions, including librarian, legal secretary, reporter, correctional officer, and legislative aide. For many years, she and her family lived on Kodiak Island and had a cabin on Raspberry Island. Presently, a widow with two grown children and three grandchildren, she lives in Anchorage, Alaska.
