The Frosty Toona Fat Tire Bike Race is a 3 mile dash throughout the River Prairie trail on fat tire bikes. The race will begin on the top of the hill behind Prairie Place Apartments and will end at the the River Prairie Lower Pavilion, where there will be a post event awards ceremony. Fat tire bikes must be equipped with a minimum of 3.7 inch width tires in order to participate. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in both Men's and Women's divisions.
There will also be prizes for the top 2 finishers in the Youth Boys' & Youth Girls' divisions! In order to be eligible for these divisions, participants must be 15 years old or younger. Fat tire bikes are NOT required for these divisions. The number of youth registrations will determine the number of heats raced.
Pre-register online through Altoona Parks & Recreation through March 12. Check-in/day of registration will begin at 10am.
