Beaver Creek Reserve is looking for Caterpillar Lab volunteers for this summer! Volunteers will assist in our seasonal Caterpillar Lab (June-September). Their role is to help us raise Monarch butterfly caterpillars and other native caterpillar species this summer. This includes but is not limited to collecting eggs and caterpillars, as well as providing milkweed, and sanitizing enclosures. Volunteers will even get the chance to release butterflies after they emerge. Shifts are Monday-Sunday (time dependent on volunteer availability), and can run from 30 min-2 hours depending on the number of caterpillars in the lab. A training is provided!
