The Friends are searching for volunteers to staff our bookstore. Each shift is 1.5 hours long, and involves taking payments, maintaining the bookstore, helping customers, and explaining the mission of the Friends to customers. Many volunteers have downtime and bring a book, homework, knitting, etc. to their shift. A background check and a short orientation are required before the first volunteer shift.
