The Eau Claire Children’s Theatre flawlessly captured the heartrending story, Walk Two Moons, based on a Newberry Medal winning novel written by Sharon Creech.
With a beautifully crafted set, the remarkable production tells the story of thirteen year old Sal, played by Kaitlyn Gillis, on a road trip to Idaho with her “Gram” and “Gramps.” On their hectic drive to Idaho to find her long lost mother, Sal tells her grandparents the adventures she shared with her friend Phoebe, another young lady left behind by her mother, played by Michaela Haig. From a suspected murder to an affair, the girls try to determine the reason behind Phoebe’s mother’s disappearance and her current whereabouts.
The show perfectly captures the girls’ emotions as they search for their mothers, while following their humorous adventurous, making the show perfect for all ages!
