Here’s a quick questionnaire for you:

1. Do you like sunshine? (Of course you do, we can finally thaw our skin!)

2. Do you like food? (Don’t pretend, we all have an inner foodie)

3. Do you like smiling happy people? (I hope you do, but if not we’ll work on that one later…)

Did you answer yes to at least one of the above? Then lucky you, that means it’s time for you to head out to the farmers market in Phoenix park this spring. I know for some of you this may be a no-brainer, but for lazy people like me who sleep the day away (no shame!), now is the chance to experience something new. The farmer’s market is every Saturday in May from 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., so if you’re an early riser and love to socialize with local vendors, head on over.

I especially recommend strolling/biking/rollerblading down the river along the way. There is a huge variety of things to get: flowers for your lady, ice cream for the kiddos, pierogis for yourself (duh!) and so many fruits and vegetables. Even better, they are sold by some very friendly vendors who would love to talk to you. Trust me, going to the farmers market is basically guaranteed to put you in a good mood.
