Check out a race, or two, or more. And all are 60 miles or less from Eau Claire.

  1. Jogging for Jesus: Whitehall, April 14th. Support Our Savior's Lutheran Church's Youth in this fundraiser by participating in a 3k or a 5k run.
  2. Bunny Run: New Richmond, April 21st. This is part of the New Richmond Centre's racing series to keep you running and in shape all year long. 
  3. Jeanne Richie Memorial Puddle Jump: Eau Claire, April 21st. This 5K event benefits Longfellow Elementary School.
  4. Chippewa Trail 50K and 10K Trail Run: New Auburn, April 28th. Want to try trail running? There's a 10k for you. Want to complete an ultra-marathon? There's a 50K for you. 
  5. Pine Line Marathon: Medford, April 28th. Race through Taylor County with a marathon, marathon relay, half-marathon, and 5k.
  6. Spring Fest: Chippewa Falls, April 28th. Participate in a 5K or 1-mile fun run as part of the larger Spring Fest April 27th-29th in Chippewa Falls.
  7. Beaver Bolt: Augusta, April 28th. Participate in a 5K and support a fundraiser for Augusta Elementary school.
  8. BRF School Forest 5K: Black River Falls, May 5th. Run a 5K supporting the Black River Falls School District.
  9. The Eau Claire Marathon: Eau Claire, May 5-6th. In its 10th year, there's a marathon, marathon relay, half-marathon, 5K, and a kid's run. Basically, there's something for everyone as you run through and around the city of Eau Claire. If you don't want to run, join us at the Water Street Mile and Cheering Party! 
  10. Get It Dunn 5K & Half Marathon: Menomonie, May 12th. The race benefits Mind Over Matter, Inc (MOM), which provides scholarships and camperships to local youth.
  11. Girls on the Run of Eau Claire: Eau Claire, May 12th. Participants, coaches, and community members can all participate in this 5K race.
  12. Triple R Triathlon: Holcombe, May 12th. Sure, it's a triathlon, but that just means you get to swim, bike and run. 
  13. Fido and Friends: Eau Claire, May 12th. A 1, 2, or 3-mile run, with or without your favorite furry friend, as a benefit for the Eau Claire County Humane Association.
  14. Pace and Pedal Duathlon & 5K: Black River Falls, May 19th. The Duathlon is a race for those who hate to swim. And if you hate cycling too, there's a 5K for you.
  15. World Beer Races: Altoona, May 19th: A 5K and 10K, but with a pint glass and beer samples at the end. Yes, please! 
  16. Journey on Janna Foundation: Chippewa Falls, May 19th. Participate in a 5K to support the Journey on Janna Foundation, which supports individuals impacted by anxiety and depression.
  17. The OZ Run 5K & Half: Chippewa Falls, May 26th: Yes, it is a Wizard of Oz themed 5K, half marathon, and now with a munchkin mile for those 10 and under.
  18. Eau Claire Kid's Triathlon: Eau Claire, June 2nd. Kids can race as individuals or as teams, in age brackets of 7-10 or 11-14 years old.
  19. Eleva Chicken Chase: Eleva, June 2nd: Are there chickens? I don't know, but it is a fundraiser to expand trails and recreation at the Eleva Broiler Fest grounds.
  20. Haley's Comet: Cameron, June 2nd: Choose between a 1-mile, 5K and 10K runs.
  21. Run/Walk to Support Veterans in Need: Bloomer, June 2nd: A relatively flat 5K that supports local veterans.
  22. Thorp Dairy Days: Thorp, June 2nd: A 5K or a 10K (and team races), all supporting the Thorp Scholarship foundation. Come for the run, stay for the pancake breakfast afterward.
  23. Eau Claire Triathlon: Eau Claire, June 3rd. This includes a 500-meter swim, 17-mile bike ride, and 5K run. Not for the faint of heart. 
  24. Lake Eau Claire Clear Water Mini-Triathlon: Augusta, June 9th. Instead of your regular triathlon, try a 1-mile paddle, 8-mile bike ride and 2.5-mile run.
  25. Booster Shot: Baldwin, June 9th. For this race, choose between a 5K or 10K. Age group winners get homemade pies. Yum! 
  26. Spectrum Shuffle: Altoona, June 9th. A short and quick 1-mile run to raise awareness and support for individuals on the Autism spectrum.
  27. Thin Mint Sprint: Eau Claire, June 16th. A kids half-mile, 5K, and 10K, all in support of Girl Scouts in the Chippewa Valley. And yes, there will be Thin Mints!
  28. Lutefiskman Triathlon & 5K: Osseo, June 16th. This is another triathlon that skips the swimming.Participate in a 2-mile canoe, 11-mile bike ride and a 3-mile run, or just participate in the 5K.
  29. Rock the Riverfront: Eau Claire, June 23rd. A 10K, 2K, or kids ¼ mile runs. Run and vote for a local non-profit to receive the proceeds.
  30. Firecracker Trail: Eau Claire, June 24th. Don't be fooled by the 5K and 10K sponsored by the Chippewa Off-Road Bike Association, this is a trail running race. Bonus: stick around after your run to watch the bike races.
  31. Karner Blue: Black River Falls, June 30th. Choose between a 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon, through and around scenic Black River Falls.
  32. Fishy Four Mile: Chetek, June 30th. Get an early start celebrating the Fourth of July, and support student scholarships.
  33. Run for the Bacon: Augusta, June 30th: Run or walk this 5K as part of Augusta's Bean and Bacon Days.
  34. Speedy Eity Memorial 7 & 4 Mile Run/Walk: Menomonie, July 4th. Get moving on July 4th and run 7 or 4 miles (and get a meal afterward!)
  35. ITC Tortoise and Hare 5K: Eau Claire, July 21st. Slow or fast, participate in this fun 5K.
  36. ITC Mini-Track Meet: Eau Claire, July 24th. Races include the 400 Meter Open, 3200 Meter Open, Medley Relay, 800 Meter Open and a Predicted Mile. What's a "Predicted Mile," you say? The winner isn't the fastest, but whoever guesses their mile time the most accurately.
  37. Just Us for Justice: Eau Claire, July 25th. There is a 2-mile and 5-mile run, both supporting Fierce Freedom, and their human trafficking advocacy.
  38. Pursuit of a Cure: Arcadia, August 9th: Run a 5K as the kickoff to Ashley for the Arts.
  39. Pure Water Days: Chippewa Falls, August 11th. There's a race for everyone as part of Pure Water Days: 1-mile, 2-mile, 4-mile and a half-marathon.
  40. Lyndon Ellefson: Barron, September 8th. Choose between a 5K or the longer half marathon.
  41. Laura Ingalls Wilder Run: Pepin, September 8th. A 5K or a 10K race, and not just for fans of the Little House on the Prairie books.
  42. Fall Frolic 5K: Chippewa Falls, September 15th. A quick 5K as part of Chippewa Falls' Fall Frolic weekend.
  43. Kids of Steel Triathlon: Eau Claire, September 16th. The Kids of Steel Triathlon has each athlete will swim in the Y pool, run to Owen Park, and bike on the Chippewa River Trail. Parents can even run with their child. 
  44. Blue Devil Run: Menomonie, October 6th. Participate in a 5K and 10K run as part of UW-Stout's Homecoming.
  45. Waumandee Waddle: Waumandee, October 6th. Check out the fall colors during this beautiful 5-mile run in the fall.
  46. Crestview Jammin' Jog: Eau Claire, October 20th. Complete a 5K at Tower Ridge Park before winter ski season hits.
  47. Carson Park 5 & 10: Eau Claire, October 27th. 5K? Check. 10 Miler? Check! Pancake breakfast? Check. Halloween costume contest and Paul Bunyan lookalike contest? Double Check.
  48. Fall Back Blast: Eau Claire, November 3rd. Here's a trail run with a distance for everyone: 50K, 37.5K, 25K and 12.5K.
  49. Festival Foods Turkey Trot: Eau Claire, November 22nd. Start off Thanksgiving with a 2 or 5-mile run, and raise money for the Eau Claire YMCA.
  50. Chilly Chippewa: Chippewa Falls, March 2nd. Choose a 1-mile or a 5K route in this early season run.
