The weather is starting to cool down and some colored leaves have even started falling.
You know what that means—fall is just around the corner! And with fall comes Downtown Eau Claire’s largest and oldest festival. The 29th annual International Fall Festival is taking place on September 23 and promises to be the biggest and best one yet. Voted #1 by residents of the Chippewa Valley, the International Fall Festival celebrates the Chippewa Valley's cultural heritage. Here are 5 reasons you won’t want to miss this free, family-oriented event.
A selection of food vendors will be there with delicious, international goodies. Try new foods or enjoy the classics. Either way—you won’t leave hungry!
2. Vendors and Exhibitors
Community and international vendors will line South Barstow Street. Take this fun opportunity to pick up some gifts and learn about our community’s great resources.
Enjoy international performances from different local organizations and some family-friendly music.
4. Family Fun Zone
Bring the whole family for some fun in the sun with games, inflatables and other activities, such as a petting zoo and pony rides.
5. Parade of Nations
The Royal Credit Union Parade of Nations is a must-see! It features community groups from throughout the Chippewa Valley and will start on South Barstow Street between Seaver and Gibson Streets.
Stop by for just an hour or stay for the whole day—there will be plenty to do to keep your family busy and entertained! The festival runs from 11:00am-5:00pm. Be sure to #CaptureEC while you’re out and about enjoying the festival.
