Eau Claire, WI –The Eau Claire Nationals Little
League Baseball Club will host the 2014
11U Wisconsin State Little League Tournament July 26-31 at
Delong Middle School fields in Eau Claire.
Six teams from across the state will compete for the state championship
in the 11 and under division.
Teams competing this year in Eau Claire include: Eau Claire Nationals, Whitefish Bay, Burlington, Appleton Einstein, Lakeland (Minocqua), and Madison Kennedy.
The Eau Claire Nationals will represent District 3 as the winner of the district tournament. The Eau Claire Nationals won the State Championship in 2013 as 10 year olds. The Nationals organization has one other state championship won by the 2012 12U team who advanced to the Central Region tournament in Indianapolis, IN that year losing in the championship game.
Games will be played at 11:00am, 1:30pm, and 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, 3:30pm, and 6:00pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and the championship game will take place Thursday at 6:00pm. The Eau Claire Nationals will play at least five games, with one each day. Admission is free and concessions will be available.
