Eau Claire, Wis. –The Minnesota Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America is hosting its Spring Fling in Eau Claire, Wis., on April 24-25, 2015. Members will line their cars up at the Best Western Plus Trail Lodge Saturday morning and will travel through the Chippewa Valley making various stops along the way.

The Minnesota Region Spring Fling consists of eight local participating chapters each year, and is held in a selected host city in either Wisconsin or Minnesota. There will be a board meeting Friday night followed by the tour of various locations in the Chippewa Valley throughout the day Saturday. Cars are expected to start lining up in the Best Western Plus Trail Lodge parking lot at 8:30 a.m. before beginning their tour. The event will be a unique opportunity for area residents to see vintage cars from various manufactures and years. The event concludes with a banquet Saturday night at the host hotel.

The primary goal of the Spring Fling is to provide a social gathering for the club members to discuss antique cars and get a firsthand look at their comrades’ car collections. The event has an estimated economic impact of over $10,000 for the Eau Claire Area.
