UW-Eau Claire is a major cultural and entertainment center for residents of the Chippewa Valley. Among highlights are theater productions and concerts; recitals and other musical events; the celebrated Artists series and Forum lecture series, which attract world-class artists and speakers to the University; Foster Art Gallery exhibits; campus-community traditions such as the annual Viennese Ball; and various dance, music, film, lecture, conference, and other events.

W.R. Davies University Center offers a number of flexible meeting and program spaces and dining facilities. Davies Center is frequently used for catered events. From an informal morning coffee for ten people to an elaborate evening banquet for more than 1,000 guests, the University Dining Services staff at the University Centers is available year-round to help plan your catered event.
Other popular facilities include Zorn Arena (auditorium-style capacity 3,190), used for major concerts, lectures and theatrical events; and Schofield Auditorium (capacity 651), a more intimate setting for musical and lecture programs.
All academic and administrative buildings on campus are smoke free and accessible to persons with disabilities.
