One thing we like to do is head to Action City. There are many activities for all of us to enjoy, from go-carts, mini-golf, a climbing wall, video games and more. Berit loves to challenge herself on the climbing wall. Joel and I race each other on the go-carts, and Harrison wears himself out playing laser tag. It's a fun way to spend a couple of hours, though it can get expensive if you're not careful. Look on the Web site for specials before you go. Wednesdays from 4-9p.m. you can get wristbands with two hours of unlilmited play for $20. It doesn't include the ticket games, but it's still a great deal.
Another activity that has been a big hit has been taking the kids over to the Chippewa Valley Museum. They love the In the Neighborhood Exhibit, which shows how neighborhoods reflect change in communities and in America. They have a quite a few other wonderful exhibits as well. All in all, a great cost-effective outing.
