October Adventures

The highlight of October was going to see Hairspray at the State Theatre.  The Eau Claire Children's Theatre again put on a fabulous show full of wonderful singing and amazing choreography.  We are looking forward to their upcoming shows as well.  Arianna went to a fun birthday party at Hoffy's Skate America and loved having the party in the gingerbread room.  Just a short drive from Eau Claire, we had a nice fall day at the Pleasant Valley Tree Farm where we enjoyed a hay ride, petting zoo, haunted trail, corn maze, panning for "gold", slides and food.  The Eau Claire Downtown Businesses handed out candy for Halloween on Friday, October 29th and the kids (and even our dogs - a lobster and a princess) enjoyed trick-or-treating there and also on Halloween in our neighborhood.

The music and arts scene in the Eau Claire Area is alive and well, and from live local theater to mainstream national acts, I can’t get enough of it! I enjoy all aspects of the cultural arts from performing to watching, and hope to bring it alive for you in the Visit Eau Claire Music and Arts blog.

I live in the hills south of Eau Claire with my wife, Ruth, my son, Taylor and our two cats, Marie and Louise. We are all active in road and mountain biking, skiing and snow shoeing. Taylor and I race our bikes in the WiSport and WORS races throughout the spring, summer and fall.
