During August we enjoyed the farmer's market downtown on a beautiful Saturday morning along the river. The kids got in their swim time by visiting both Chaos Water Park at the Metropolis Resort and Fairfax Pool and of course, enjoyed both wet adventures. We had a picnic at Riverview Park and enjoyed Festival in the Pines in Carson Park. This great event is held every year and features great family entertainment and over 250 vendors. It is a don't miss event! We are looking forward to fall family adventures... apple orchards, corn mazes and hayrides, just to name a few!
