July presented more fun summer activities for our family! We visited the Chippewa Valley Museum for their old-fashioned Fourt of July celebration, as has become our tradition! Even though it is was rainy this year, the activities were still fun and just moved inside the museum. We enjoyed the annual spelling bee in the old school house where Andrew and I each took first place in our age categories and Arianna took second place in hers! We enjoyed an outside concert at UW-Eau Claire and they even had free popcorn! The Eau Claire Children's Theatre put on several wonderful performances of the Pied Piper of Hameline, which we of course say three times since Andrew was in it. ECCT has so many wonderful upcoming shows that we look forward to seeing. Kent and I went to all three days of Country Jam, which was a great time right here in Eau Claire.
We look forward to enjoying the fun August events, some of which will be Summerfest and Festival in the Pines. We also hope to find some time to visit the farmer's market and enjoy Fairfax Pool on some hot days!
