On a recent night out, a friend and I hit up the Water Street area. Historic Water Street is known for its bars, shops and restaurants. We had dinner at Mona Lisa’s, a Mediterranean restaurant with a great atmosphere and an even better drink menu! It is a casual place, with a lot of cool artwork and an indoor fireplace.
After an awesome meal, which included spinach and artichoke tortellini, salad and several glasses of wine, we decided to do some bar hopping! Water Street has taverns for everyone, from live music to sports bars, outdoor patio seating and dancing (which we did a lot of)! One place we went to was the Pioneer Tavern. The Pioneer has pool tables, darts and an outdoor patio; awesome in the summer! The bartenders are friendly and the atmosphere is fun and casual. All in all, it was a great night in a great area of town, with a great friend!
