Hi again….
This month Jane and I decided to do something “light” so we headed off to a local movie theatre and we went to a movie. And yes, she got to pick it AND it wasn’t one I’d normally opt in to see. But, hey, that’s what romance is all about - doing something you know the other person wants to do, (even if you would rather watch a movie with explosions. Sigh). Anyway, while we were waiting for the show to start we were able to catch up again on each others’ week and we enjoyed just sitting and holding hands. The popcorn was excellent and the movie was better than I thought, and afterwards we ran downtown to grab a quick bite to eat at Acoustic Café on Barstow.
Eau Claire is rather blessed to have quite a few unique places to eat and gather and The Acoustic is among them. We’ve always had a tasty meal and love sticking around to hear some of the best local (and visiting) musicians take to the stage.
We do our best to find little ways to get some time to ourselves, and we’re not always successful with our schedules. But we keep at it and when we do find the time, it’s pretty special. Eau Claire has lots of ways to bring back the romance (or keep it going) in your lives and don’t forget that it doesn’t always have to be a big deal. Sharing yourself and your time with your partner goes a long way.
