Eau Claire is a great place for the girls to get together and have a fun night out.

December 29, 2009

Whether  you label our weekend exploring the Chippewa Valley Three Friends in Flux, One Foot In Front of The Other, or Waltzes, Workouts, and Wineries (all of these titles were seriously considered) our first Girl's Getaway Weekend was a delight for all involved.  There is no question that Eau Claire and the surrounding area offers a wide variety of venues (and adventures) for women of all interests, and trust me (Brenda) we tried to pack in as many as possible.

The music and arts scene in the Eau Claire Area is alive and well, and from live local theater to mainstream national acts, I can’t get enough of it! I enjoy all aspects of the cultural arts from performing to watching, and hope to bring it alive for you in the Visit Eau Claire Music and Arts blog.

I live in the hills south of Eau Claire with my wife, Ruth, my son, Taylor and our two cats, Marie and Louise. We are all active in road and mountain biking, skiing and snow shoeing. Taylor and I race our bikes in the WiSport and WORS races throughout the spring, summer and fall.
