Local artist and educator Susan Santee will facilitate a roundtable discussion focusing on Art Entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners in the business of art are encouraged to attend. The purpose of the roundtable discussion is to gather entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners in the same field to share their experiences and best practices, network, and collaborate.The cost is $15, and lunch will be provided. Presented by The Western Dairyland Business Center and Women’s Business Center, the purpose of each industry roundtable discussion is to gather entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners in the same field to share their experiences and best practices, network, and collaborate. Future industry roundtable discussions will feature industry experts within the areas of food, health & wellness and tourism. Susan Santee has an MA in English Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a BA in Art Education from the University of Northern Iowa. Her most recent work experiences include teaching in the English Department and Honors Program at UW-Eau Claire where she designed and developed two original visual arts courses for the Honors Program. Although her studio emphasis in college was creative photography, she has recently returned to her original love of drawing.
