Wisconsin American Legion Rhino Run
The Rhino Run, a fundraiser for the American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund that occurs prior to the 96th Annual Convention in Appleton, begins Monday, July 14 at 8 a.m., in Portage and makes four stops throughout the day with the final one being at the Brackett Post. The ride resumes the next two days with a stop for the night Tuesday in Janesville and concluding Wednesday in Appleton.
The American Legion Legacy Scholarship Fund was created to ease the burden of college tuition and living expenses for the children of military personnel who were killed during active duty.
